KATHMANDU, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - The death toll in floods in Nepal and Tibet has risen to 270, Nepalese police said.
A police post on X said that 270 bodies have been recovered so far.
It was previously reported that at least 157 people had died, and that 25 Chinese workers had been rescued in Nepal.
The search and rescue operation is continuing, and the number of victims is expected to rise further.
Hundreds of tourists are still missing.
