ARAGHCHI: CONTACTS BETWEEN TEHRAN AND WASHINGTON CONTINUE

DUBAI, NOVEMBER 2 /SRNA – Reuters/ – Contacts between Iran and the United States on ending the conflict are continuing, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"Consultations through mediators are very intensive. We have presented our conditions and proposals, and now everything depends on Washington's political rationality," Araghchi said.

Earlier reports said world oil prices fell by more than three percent after Iranian and Qatari officials held new talks for the third day in a row. The talks aim to reach an agreement to end the conflict between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other.

However, Iranian sources said they believe a new US attack is far more likely than an agreement.
