BRUSSELS, OCTOBER 20 /SRNA-Reuters/ – NATO will deploy additional maritime patrol aircraft, radar systems and unmanned aerial vehicles to the Black Sea, the alliance said.

NATO spokesman Colonel Martin O'Donnell said member states would also send intelligence personnel and teams to conduct forensic analysis of explosives.

Seven sailors are missing after drones struck two chemical tankers off Romania's Black Sea coast last week.

At least five other cargo ships have been hit off the coasts of Romania and Bulgaria over the past 10 days, with at least 23 sailors reported missing or killed.
