WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - US President Donald Trump said today that Russia was ready to supply 1.8 million tons of diesel in November, followed by an additional three million tons depending on conditions at Russian refineries.
Trump said earlier that he had spoken by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin, describing the conversation as "very successful."
"It was agreed that Russia would immediately deliver more than 300,000 tons of diesel to the US and global markets, an additional 500,000 tons during November, and 1,000,000 tons immediately after that," Trump announced on Truth Social.
He added that, depending on refinery conditions, Russia would then supply another three million tons of diesel within a short period.
