PRNJAVOR TEAM CLAIMS WORLD TITLE IN STREET FOOTBALL

PRNJAVOR, SEPTEMBER 5 /SRNA/ — Dejan Živković, Duško Subić, Arsen Knežević and Miloš Milijašević have won the world title in three-a-side street football at the championship held in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

The team from Prnjavor defeated Latvia 4-3 after extra time in the final.

The Prnjavor team began its path to the world title in the group stage, where it recorded three wins and one defeat on the opening day. It defeated teams representing Malta, Germany and one South American country, while losing to Serbia.

The World Championship in Utrecht brought together teams from 32 countries and was held from September 2 to 4, organized by the International Street Football Association /ISFA/.

By winning the world title, Živković, Subić, Knežević and Milijašević achieved the biggest success of their participation in the competition to date and put Prnjavor among the world champions in three-a-side street football.
