NIKOLA JOKIĆ INJURED

BIJELJINA, 23 MARCH /SRNA/ - Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokić will miss the upcoming game against the Houston Rockets due to a left wrist injury. This health issue could pose serious challenges for him in the race for the MVP award of the regular season.

According to league rules, in order for a player to be considered for the prestigious award, they must play at least 65 games in the season. Currently, Jokić has played 62, which means he must participate at least three more times before the end of the regular season to remain in contention.

However, he is currently in second place in the MVP race, while the leader in that battle is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander from the Oklahoma City Thunder.
