BELGRADE, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ - Serbian rowers Martin Mačković and Nikolai Pimenov have reached the final of the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.
Mačković and Pimenov, who compete in the double sculls, finished second in their semifinal behind the Dutch crew.
The Serbian duo recorded the second-fastest time across the two semifinal groups.
Mačković and Pimenov, who recently won the European Championships in the Italian city of Varese, will compete in the final tomorrow at 5:35 p.m.
Serbian single sculler Jovana Arsić also advanced to the next round.
She finished second in her heat, thereby qualifying for the quarterfinals.
