MAČKOVIĆ AND PIMENOV ARE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNERS-UP

BELGRADE, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ - Serbian rowers Martin Mačković and Nikolaj Pimenov won the silver medal at the World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam.

The Serbian duo finished second in the final, behind the Netherlands, and Belgium took third place.

Mačković and Pimenov, who compete in the double sculls, recently won the European Championships in the Italian city of Varese.
