DENVER, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ - Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokić sets a career record with 61 points, but Denver lost 140:139 to Minnesota after two overtimes.
Jokić sets a triple-double, because in addition to 61 points, he had 11 rebounds and 10 assists.
Russell Westbrook led to Denver's tragedy as he missed a layup in the last attack, and then fouled Nickeil Alexander-Walker on a three-point shot in the last second of the second overtime.
Aaron Gordon has 30 points, Christian Brown contributed 18, and Westbrook 12 for Denver.
Anthony Edwards led Minnesota was with 34 points, Julius Randle and Alexander-Walker with 26 points, Rudy Gober with 19.
The Nuggets stands third in the Western Conference with 47 wins and 29 losses, the Timberwolves are seventh with 44-32.
