DOBOJ, APRIL 14 /SRNA/ – Tennis Club Doboj will once again host four international tennis tournaments this year, including an ITF M15 Futures event, an ITF J30 junior tournament for players under 18, a Tennis Europe tournament, the "Ljubiša Miladinović" Memorial for competitors under 16, and the Regional Veterans Championship – the "Milenko Panić" Memorial.

Club representative Mladen Radulović said the ITF M15 Futures tournament, which awards ATP points, will begin on May 18, while the ITF J30 junior tournament and the Regional Veterans Championship are scheduled for June. The Tennis Europe tournament will be held in September.

Radulović told reporters that the club, the most decorated in Republika Srpska and BiH, continues to develop numerous talents, highlighting Sara Tripić.

Tripić is the club's top junior player and the best-ranked competitor in the under-14 and under-16 categories in Republika Srpska and BiH. She recently reached the final of the national under-18 championship.

He expressed satisfaction with her growing success on the European stage, including a recent tournament in Vinkovci where she won titles in both singles and doubles.

The 14-year-old said she claimed the top title in strong competition among 62 players in the main draw, noting that the victory means a lot to her.

Tripić began playing tennis at the age of six through the Doboj club's tennis school, won her first tournament at eight in Banja Luka, and has since recorded successes at Tennis Europe events in Turkiye and beyond.

Her coach Denis Spahić said that Sara stood out early due to her motor skills, along with strong strokes she continues to refine.

Tennis Club Doboj, as the most successful in Republika Srpska and BiH, has a bright future thanks to its many young talents.

The Doboj ITF M15 Futures tournament is listed among events of special importance for Republika Srpska and, along with the International Handball TV Champions Tournament, is one of the most significant annual events in the city.
