BANJA LUKA, April 25 /SRNA/ – The current European senior and youth boxing champion Sara Ćirković said today in Banja Luka that she will do her best to repay everyone supporting her for the upcoming match at the IBA "Night of Champions" spectacle in the best possible way, and that she is entering the ring with the desire to win.
Ćirković expressed special gratitude to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, for his continued support throughout her career.
"I am very happy to be fighting for a professional title right here in Banja Luka, in Republika Srpska," Ćirković said at a joint press conference with the President of Srpska ahead of the International Boxing Association’s "Night of Champions" event.
She is confident that people from different parts of Serbia and Srpska, who are interested in her match and the entire spectacle, will attend.
"I am proud to be a Serb, because Serbs are a heroic people," Ćirković emphasized.
The IBA "Night of Champions" event will take place on April 27 in the "Borik" sports hall in Banja Luka.
The program will feature nine professional matches involving Olympic, World, and European medalists.
The main event of the evening is scheduled for eight rounds in the 53.5-kilogram category for the IBA women’s professional world champion belt, where Ćirković will face French fighter Romane Moulai.
