BOROVČANIN: I BELIEVE IN SARA’S VICTORY – TOGETHER WE WILL SING ANTHEMS OF SUCCESS FOR SRPSKA AND SERBIA

BANJA LUKA, April 25 /SRNA/ – The President of the Boxing Federation of Serbia, Nenad Borovčanin, stated today in Banja Luka that it is a great honor for this city to host the historic professional world title match of Sara Ćirković.

"I believe the Serbian flag will fly high and that together we will sing the anthems of Serbia and Republika Srpska, sending a clear message that on this side of the Drina River, Serbs fight with all their hearts for Serbia and win the highest honors," Borovčanin said during a joint press conference with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and champion boxer Sara Ćirković.

He expressed gratitude to Dodik for his unwavering support for sports and for fostering the cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska.

"With Dodik on our side, we will keep winning – and anyone who challenges us will be knocked out," Borovčanin emphasized.

Alberto Rož, Director of the International Boxing Association, praised Banja Luka as a beautiful city and said he was honored to be in Republika Srpska.

"This is a great honor for me, and thank you for the hospitality. We owe deep gratitude to President Milorad Dodik. The level of boxing, especially among women, is truly exceptional," Rož said.

Sara Ćirković’s opponent, French boxer Romane Moulai, said she had already faced Ćirković in amateur boxing and expects another excellent match in their bout for the world title.
