BIG PROFESSIONAL BOXING SPECTACLE UNDERWAY, SARA ĆIRKOVIĆ FIGHTING FOR WORLD TITLE

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ - Big spectacle in professional boxing by the International Boxing Association /IBA/ "Night of Champions" kicks off tonight in the "Borik" Sports Hall in Banja Luka with the professional match between Artem Pugach of Russia and Serbia's Aleksej Sendrik.

In the main event, the "boxing heart" of Republika Srpska and Serbia, Sara Ćirković, will face French fighter Romane Mulai for the world professional title.

The president of the Boxing Federation of Serbia, Nenad Borovčanin, wished the boxers good and fair fights and that Ćirković bring home the world title.

"Night of Champions" brought together 16 male and two female boxers. Representing Serbia, as announced by the Boxing Federation of Serbia, are the "seven magnificent," one lady and six boxing knights.

Nine professional matches will be held, featuring medalists from the Olympic Games, World, and European Championships. The fifth and main match is reserved for Ćirković, the current senior and youth European champion and bronze medalist from the 2025 World Championships, who will face the French boxer Romane Mulai.

This fight of the evening is scheduled for eight rounds in the 53.5 kg weight category, for the IBA World Professional Champion belt in the women's competition.

Sara Ćirković, the current senior and youth European boxing champion, previously said that she would do her best to repay everyone who supports her for the upcoming match at the IBA "Night of Champions" event in the best possible way. She emphasized that she enters the ring with the desire to win.

Ćirković also expressed her special gratitude for the support throughout her career to the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.
