AZPILICUETA RETIRES AT END OF SEASON

LONDON, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Spanish football player César Azpilicueta will end his professional career at the end of the current season, the English club Chelsea announced.

The statement states that Azpilicueta /36/ is one of the most successful players in Chelsea's history, considering the fact that he is the first footballer who, in 11 years at Stamford Bridge, has won literally everything that a player can win with a club.

Azpilicueta played 508 games for Chelsea, of which he was captain, while he played 44 matches for the Spanish national team.

After leaving the London club, Azpilicueta spent two years at Atletico Madrid, before ending his career at Sevilla.
