ZELL: SRPSKA INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OFFICE’S POWERFUL POSITION

WASHINGTON, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA/ – American attorney Marc Zell welcomed the article by Acting Director of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office Ana Trišić-Babić, titled "Republika Srpska’s Right to Speak in Its Own Voice".

"The Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office has just issued a powerful statement," Zell posted on X, sharing Ana Trišić-Babić’s article.

In her article, Ana Trišić-Babić said that one loses in international politics only when one agrees to let someone else interpret one’s arguments on your behalf.

"Republika Srpska has for far too long been represented in the international arena almost exclusively through a negative lens. It has been portrayed as a problem to be solved, an obstacle to be removed, or a political phenomenon to be disciplined.

Its positions have often not been interpreted from the perspective of its legitimate interests, but rather through pre-shaped political categories. This created a situation in which others spoke about Republika Srpska, while the space for Republika Srpska to speak for itself remained disproportionately narrow," Trišić-Babić stated in a column published on the website of the Republika Srpska International Cooperation Office – diplomatijars.rs, which SRNA broadcasted in full.
