PALE, APRIL 20 /SRNA/ – The winter tourist season on Mount Jahorina has been successfully completed with approximately 400,000 skiers who visited the mountain over 139 days.
"The winter season on Jahorina, which lasted from December 2 until yesterday, has been successfully brought to an end, confirming the mountain's status as one of the most important winter tourist destinations in the region," the Jahorina Olympic Centre announced.
The most visited day was February 16 with more than 10,000 skiers on the slopes.
A special segment of the mountain's offer was night skiing, which further enriched the tourist experience and extended visitors' stays, the statement reads.
Visitors also had access to additional activities, such as ski biking and sledding, which remained one of the most popular attractions this season, especially among the youngest guests.
"Thanks to continuous investments, high-quality slope maintenance, and favourable weather conditions, Jahorina once again met expectations and set high standards in winter tourism," the Olympic Centre emphasizes.
The Jahorina Olympic Centre thanked all employees, visitors, partners, and the team behind the achieved results, highlighting the importance of socially responsible activities that the Centre continuously implements.
The Olympic Centre announced a dynamic summer and ambitious projects that will further enhance the offer, confirming that Jahorina remains synonymous with a top-quality experience throughout the entire year.
