BANJA LUKA, APRIL 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Radovan Višković said that an attack on Republika Srpska and its institutions is an attack on the constitutional order.
By removing key leaders of Srpska from their positions according to the wishes of political Sarajevo and certain foreign power centers, Višković says, BiH would not solve any of its problems - it would only make things worse.
Višković emphasized that Republika Srpska officials do not violate any article of the Constitution of BiH, unlike many politicians from the Federation of BiH who do so with impunity.
"They believe it is their divine right to act with impunity, that the state, court, and prosecutor’s office are theirs. The first article of the Constitution clearly says that BiH consists of two entities and three constituent peoples. Therefore, an attack on Republika Srpska and its institutions is an attack on the constitutional order," Višković said.
He says that political Sarajevo, with the support of certain power centers, has created a "good story" for federal media and the public, reducing all of its problems to Republika Srpska and its leadership.
Višković said that what is happening does not benefit anyone.
He emphasized that, as a responsible person, after the issuance of the unconstitutional warrant by the BiH Court, he now has to think about the safety of the members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, who provide him with protection as a protected person, especially considering that there are frequent calls from the Federation of BiH for conflicts, shootings, and the incitement of incidents.
Regarding the European path, Višković says that the EU allows its norms and the 14 priorities given for BiH, including the abolition of the OHR and the reform of the BiH Constitutional Court, in which foreign judges sit, to be violated.
"How is it possible that they are abandoning their conclusions and priorities? What European path are they talking about, if in the end they always say that the issues of the OHR, the High Representative, and the Constitutional Court will be resolved when BiH is ready to join the EU, which will never happen according to current thoughts and attitude," Višković said.
If the EU wants BiH, Višković says, why don't they say that we have three years to fulfill our obligations or that we should no longer approach them, and let the domestic authorities solve it, not the embassies and Christian Schmidt.
