VIPOTNIK: SPATIAL PLAN TO PROTECT PROPERTY FROM ONGOING CHALLENGES

BANJA LUKA, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - The Government of Republika Srpska today adopted information on the preparation of the Republika Srpska Spatial Plan for the next 20 years, which will define the fundamental goals and principles of the entity's development during that period, Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology Bojan Vipotnik said in a statement to SRNA.

"The preparation of the new Republika Srpska Spatial Plan is also an important political decision, demonstrating our readiness to develop our Republic in a planned and balanced manner, while also protecting its property from continuing challenges," Vipotnik said.

He noted that the Republika Srpska Spatial Plan represents the "technical constitution", that is, the highest strategic spatial planning document of Republika Srpska.

The Government of Republika Srpska instructed the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology and the Ministry of Finance to secure BAM two million for the preparation of the Republika Srpska Spatial Plan.
