UNITY - OBLIGATION TO GENERATIONS THAT FOUGHT FOR FREEDOM

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 14 /SRNA/ - President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić congratulated the people of Republika Srpska and Serbia on Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day, stressing that unity is an obligation to the generations that fought for freedom and the state. Stevandić stressed that the Serb people owe unity to the Salonika Front soldiers and all those who secured freedom and the state. "Let us raise the flag high as an indestructible shield against all enemies. Let us cover our common living space with the shadow of the tricolor, a space that knows no borders but threatens no one," Stevandić said in his message on the occasion of Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day. Serbian Unity, Freedom and National Flag Day is a public holiday celebrated on September 15 in Serbia and Republika Srpska, and was symbolically established on the day marking the breakthrough of the Salonika Front. It was established in 2020 with the aim of strengthening the unity of the Serb people in Serbia and Republika Srpska, as well as strengthening the importance of the national flag.
