TRIŠIĆ BABIĆ: HERZOG FULLY BRIEFED ON REPUBLIKA SRPSKA DEVELOPMENTS

JERUSALEM, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ – The Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić Babić expressed satisfaction after meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, noting that Herzog is well-informed about developments in Republika Srpska.

“The meeting with the President of Israel serves as an introduction to the other scheduled meetings. We are truly pleased,” Trišić Babić told reporters after the session.

Speaking about the prestigious lecture on Jewish philosopher and writer Ze'ev Jabotinsky, held at the official residence of the Israeli President, Trišić Babić explained that the event is held annually.

"US Ambassador Mike Huckabee delivered an excellent lecture. I wish our citizens in Republika Srpska could also hear it, and that we could approach certain matters in the same manner," Trišić Babić emphasized.

She added that the goal of all planned meetings during the Republika Srpska delegation’s visit to Israel is to strengthen cooperation and partnership between Republika Srpska and Israel.

The Acting President Ana Trišić Babić and SNSD President Milorad Dodik are on a multi-day official visit to Israel, where they will hold a series of important meetings with Israeli officials. The delegation also includes Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Radovan Kovačević.
