TRIŠIĆ-BABIĆ EXTENDS GREETINGS ON ORTHODOX NEW YEAR 2026

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 13 /SRNA/ – Acting President of Republika Srpska Ana Trišić-Babić extended her congratulations to all citizens of Republika Srpska on the occasion of the Orthodox New Year 2026.

"I wish all citizens of Republika Srpska who celebrate the New Year according to the Julian calendar to welcome it with their loved ones in good health and high spirits. May the New Year 2026 bring them happiness, success, peace, and prosperity," Trišić-Babić said in her congratulatory message.

The Serbian, Russian, and Georgian Orthodox Churches, as well as Mount Athos and the Jerusalem Patriarchate, which observe the Julian calendar, will welcome the New Year at midnight.
