THERE WILL BE NO EARLY PRESIDENTAL ELECTIONS

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 1 /SRNA/ - President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said today that as long as he is the president, he will not allow that early presidential elections take place on the territory of Republika Srpska.

Dodik called people to remain calm and gathered around Republika Srpska.

He thanked the Party of Democratic Progress /PDP/ for the statement that this party will not go to the presidential elections if organized.

"The elections will not take place as long as I am the president. I invite my associates to refuse any possibility of any early elections taking place, and to mobilize to police in order to not let anyone organize any polling station," Dodik told the press.

He pointed out that he will continue to do his job until he receives the decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and a clear plan on how to go forward and how far to go.

"I think that Republika Srpska needs to respond, because it is endangered. They attack the strongest political individuals. I don't expect anything else from the opposition but to enjoy observing what had happened today," said Dodik.
