BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 13 /SRNA/ – The Minister of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska Denis Šulić told SRNA that next year should see the first participation of Republika Srpska at the tourism fair in New York, which confirms the good relations between the institutions of Srpska and the administration of President Donald Trump.

Šulić pointed out that this fair is one of the most prestigious in the United States, and that in addition to it, next year’s focus will be on Republika Srpska’s participation at fair events in Moscow, Vienna, Berlin, Istanbul, Ljubljana and Zagreb.

“We want to present ourselves even better, and with our appearance in New York we confirm significantly improved relations of the Government of Srpska, the President of the Republic Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, and the Prime Minister Savo Minić with the new administration in Washington,” Šulić said.

He emphasized that the wave of a favorable political climate should be used to promote Republika Srpska in the tourism sector and to attract more visitors from the United States.

Speaking about the work of the Ministry in the first 100 days of the new Government’s mandate, Šulić stated that plans include the adoption of several laws on consumer protection, tourism and hospitality, the completion of the central information system, and the continued monitoring of price trends in Srpska.

Šulić announced that on Wednesday, September 17, a meeting will be held with representatives of retail chains in Srpska to discuss further price reductions.

He noted that within the first 100 days of the new Government’s work, his Ministry will finalize the adoption of the consumer protection and tourism laws, as well as the draft hospitality law.

“This is all in line with the needs of our economy,” Šulić said, adding that tourist vouchers are also being issued and will be available to citizens until the end of November.

He stressed that the goal of the Ministry is to complete the central information system by the end of the year, so that it will be fully implemented as of January 1, 2026.

Šulić added that the Ministry is in the final stage of preparing participation of Srpska in the fair activities that will begin next year.

He welcomed the decision of Srpska’s Prime Minister Savo Minić that ministers should be present among the citizens of Srpska.

“We are placing ourselves fully at the disposal not only of the Prime Minister, but also of the citizens of Srpska,” Šulić emphasized.

The Prime Minister of Srpska Savo Minić tasked ministers in the Government with preparing and presenting a work plan for the first true 100 days of their mandate.
