STRONG SERBIA A GUARANTOR OF SECURITY FOR ALL SERBS

BELGRADE, JUNE 28 /SRNA/ – Serbia is strong enough to guarantee security for all Serbs, Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić said after attending a live-fire demonstration of the Serbia’s Armed Forces' most modern weapons and systems at the Pasuljanske Livade military training ground.

Stevandić said that the weapons demonstrated today mean that no one will think of threatening the Serbs or the Serb people anymore, as stated in Serbia's defence strategy.

He also stressed that Serbs in Republika Srpska feel safer and more secure.

"Never before have we been so closely connected and united. There has never been greater unity among us. That unity is the greatest guarantee of our future. It will also be supported by economic development, military strength and our geopolitical position in the future," Stevandić said.

He noted that the weapons demonstrated today are intended exclusively for defence and that Serbia is showing responsibility by being 20 years ahead of others.

"The fact is that Serbia is currently the strongest in terms of development and has the best protection, and that all of us, members of the Serb people, benefit from that. The most important thing is that we are 20 years ahead of the others and that we belong to one entity, one people, one state and one military," Stevandić told SRNA and RTRS.
