BANJA LUKA, MAY 20 /SRNA/ - President of United Srpska Nenad Stevandić said that the ruling coalition has shown it can ensure a fiscally stable and institutionally organized Srpska, capable of withstanding all challenges, protecting elected officials, and preventing the delegitimization of the popular will.

“Srpska in the past year was incomparably better than all its competitors, that is, those we compare it with, and we achieved this under impossible historical and political conditions and under great pressure, which makes our victory even greater. But nothing is finished yet, and we are continuing forward,” Stevandić told reporters after the meeting of the ruling coalition in Banja Luka.

He said that the meeting included a review of the most difficult post-war years for Republika Srpska.

“At this time last year, no one would have bet on us, but we managed to break through the international corridor, ensure fiscal stability, and demonstrate institutional strength,” Stevandić said.

He pointed out that everything done internationally by the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH, Željka Cvijanović, has always been supported in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, which gives her strength.

“When she speaks somewhere, that is also the voice of Republika Srpska. That is proof of our synergy,” said Stevandić.

He stated that Srpska is today stable and institutionally organized, and that the ruling coalition has cohesion and has shown it is capable of handling all challenges.

"United Srpska will, at its party assembly, authorize the signing of a coalition agreement /for the upcoming elections/. The final result cannot be that the people choose something other than a fiscally stable, institutionally organized community capable of withstanding challenges, and we are the ones who can ensure that,” Stevandić said.
