BANJA LUKA, JULY 5 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić asked why EU officials refuse to pay tribute to the innocent Serb victims of the Podrinje region who were brutally killed on their own doorsteps, if representatives of Russia and the United States can do so together.
"Gentlemen from the EU, who is preventing you, and why do you refuse to pay tribute to the innocent Serb victims? Mark Burns, spiritual adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, and Russian Ambassador Igor Kalabukhov can do it together, but you cannot?" Stevandić posted on X.
Stevandić told them to Google and inform themselves about, among other cases, the fate of the boy Slobodan Stojanović, who was killed in July 1992 by Elfeta Veseli, a member of the Sabotage Platoon of the Liplje - Kamenica Joint Units Command of the so-called Army of BiH.
"Google B. Vučetić, grandmother Slavka, B. Kojić, the child Slobodan Stojanović..." Stevandić told EU officials.
Slobodan Stojanović was killed after returning to his native village of Kamenica to retrieve his dog, having previously fled with his parents.
According to the findings of the forensic pathologist, the murder was particularly brutal. The boy's abdomen had been slashed in the shape of a cross, and he had visible head injuries.
The central commemoration for the 3,267 Serbs from the Central Podrinje and Birač region who were killed between 1992 and 1995 was held in Bratunac yesterday.
