STEVANDIĆ: SRNA SHOULD REMAIN KEY MEDIA PILLAR

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 6 /SRNA/ - The Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandić congratulated the News Agency of Republika Srpska - SRNA on its 34th anniversary and its patron saint day, the Annunciation, expressing hope that it will remain a pillar of Srpska's media system.

"SRNA has been and remains a symbol of fast, accurate and verified reporting, adhering to the highest professional and ethical standards of journalism, which has placed it among modern and respected news agencies. I sincerely congratulate you on that," Stevandić said in a message addressed to Acting General Director Tatjana Parađina, editors, journalists, and all employees.

He emphasized that over the past 34 years, SRNA has made a significant contribution, through objective and professional journalism, to the establishment of a modern media system necessary for strengthening democracy, the rule of law, and the institutional development of Republika Srpska.

"I wish you much success, health and happiness in your future work. Happy patron saint day and anniversary," Stevandić stressed.

The News Agency of Republika Srpska, SRNA, will tomorrow celebrate its patron saint day, the Annunciation and 34 years of operation.

SRNA was founded by a decision of the National Assembly of the then Serb Republic of BiH on the Annunciation in 1992 in Pale as the Serb News Agency - SRNA.
