STEVANDIĆ: BiH PEOPLES SHOULD ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY

BANJA LUKA, MAY 25 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić has said today in Banja Luka that the prevailing view among international politicians is that the peoples of BiH should assume responsibility and reach agreements among themselves without foreign influence.

"The result of Republika Srpska's efforts is that Christian Schmidt resigned. We exposed his dirty dealings, which we are proud of," Stevandić told the press.

He assessed that reaching compromise on the Declaration on closing the Office of High Representative /OHR/ in BiH as highly significant.

"We accepted the SDS amendment calling on the UN Security Council to urgently adopt a resolution closing the OHR, and that Republika Srpska demands the removal of all consequences of legally null and void acts imposed by the High Representatives," Stevandić explained.
