SRNA WILL SOON BEGIN OPERATING FROM NEW REPRESENTATIVE PREMISES AT ITS SEAT IN PALE

PALE, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ – The Republika Srpska Media System – SRNA will soon begin operating from new, modern, fully equipped and representative premises in Pale, following a strategic decision by the Republika Srpska Government to permanently return the national news agency to its original seat, the place where it was founded, at the initiative of President Milorad Dodik, acting SRNA Director General Tatjana Parađina stated.

Parađina emphasized that this highly significant investment by the Republika Srpska Government, headed by Prime Minister Savo Minić, represents more than a construction project, as this major government investment is a sign of unequivocal support for SRNA and all its employees.

The new environment, Parađina added, will provide significantly better working conditions, which is an additional responsibility for all SRNA employees to work even better and more responsibly for the benefit of everyone for whom the agency exists – Republika Srpska, the public, and its users.

"Through this decision, the leadership of Republika Srpska has confirmed in the most direct possible way how much it values the work, reputation, and importance of our institution. Providing a top-quality workplace is not merely an aesthetic improvement, but a boost for SRNA, giving our staff an environment that encourages creativity, precision, and maximum productivity," she said.

By returning SRNA to its historic seat and equipping the premises according to the most modern international standards, Parađina said, the leadership of Republika Srpska has created the environment that the institution deserves and provided its employees with excellent working conditions.

"After years away, returning home in a modern form is a direct indication that the leadership of Republika Srpska views our institution as a fundamental pillar of the media scene in Srpska, taking into account the equal development of all parts of Republika Srpska," Parađina emphasized.

With this move, she added, the Government has not only invested substantial financial resources in capital infrastructure, but has also made a decision to revitalize the institution, at the initiative of President Dodik, by returning it to the municipality where, on April 7, 1992, the first news report of the first Serb media outlet from what was then the Republic of the Serb People of BiH was broadcast.

Therefore, SRNA expresses its gratitude to the entire leadership of Republika Srpska and the members of SRNA Supervisory Board for their continued understanding and support, as well as for their vision in making this project a priority. Such an investment represents an obligation that goes beyond daily routines – it is a call to pursue even more ambitious goals. With new energy and excellent working conditions, we will continue to work even better and more responsibly together with our colleagues in Banja Luka, Bijeljina, and Belgrade, and our correspondents throughout Republika Srpska," she emphasized, adding that one of the next goals is to provide more suitable premises for colleagues in Banja Luka and Bijeljina.

All SRNA employees, she stressed, will, through their work and dedication, justify the trust placed in them by the Government, the leadership of Republika Srpska, all institutions and citizens of Srpska, as well as their loyal users.
