BIJELJINA, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ - The News Agency of Republika Srpska - SRNA marked its patron saint day, the Annunciation, and 34 years of existence and operation in Bijeljina today.

The religious ceremony was held at the agency's headquarters in Bijeljina, attended by the management and employees.

Priest Siniša Šarenac blessed those present and noted that the Feast of the Annunciation is a holiday of good and joyful news, expressing hope that SRNA will continue to publish as many such stories as possible.

He reminded of the significance of the Annunciation, when Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and told her she would give birth to the Son of God, emphasizing that people should always accept what comes from God.

He stressed that everything can be achieved when the Lord is with a person.

The Acting Director General of SRNA Tatjana Parađina presented Priest Šarenac with SRNA's book on the suffering of Serbs in the Middle Podrinje region.

Parađina emphasized that over the past 34 years SRNA has been and remained a credible national news agency whose reports are widely carried.

"We will continue in the same way, adhering to professional standards. We will strive to justify the trust of the public, our clients and business partners, and we thank them for their successful cooperation, confident it will continue in the future," Parađina said.
