SELAK: SDA AND DF'S REQUEST MATTER OF POLITICS, NOT LEGAL EXPERTISE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Minister of Justice Goran Selak said that the request by SDA and DF deputies in the BiH House of Representatives for a constitutional review of the Republika Srpska Criminal Code's article introducing the public display and promotion of flags and symbols of the so-called Army of BiH as a criminal offense is a matter of politics, not legal expertise.

Selak recalled that the Republika Srpska Constitutional Court had ruled that the provisions of the Amendments to the Criminal Code were in accordance with the Constitution.

"We also know that the Constitutional Court of BiH is increasingly making decisions based not on the Constitution, but on politics. We will wait and see whether that will be the case again this time!" Selak told the press in Banja Luka.
