ROD BLAGOJEVICH ATTENDS LITURGY AT THE CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE SAVIOUR

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 9 /SRNA/ - Rod Blagojevich, one of the closest associates of the US President and former Governor of Illinois, is attending the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in Banja Luka on the occasion of St. Stephen's Day, dedicated to the Holy Protomartyr and Archdeacon Stephen, the first to suffer martyrdom for the Christian faith in the mid-first century AD.

The Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is being officiated by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, concelebrated by hierarchs and clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Along with a large number of faithful, the service is being attended by ministers from the Government of Republika Srpska and the Government of Serbia, as well as other officials from political and public life.
