BANJA LUKA, APRIL 13 /SRNA/ - Serbia’s Ambassador in Vienna Marko Blagojević says that representatives of Serbs from Austria heard today at a meeting with the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik that Republika Srpska and its president insist only on respecting the letter of the law, nothing more.

"In the coming days, we plan to try to build closer relations in the Austrian media and with our friends in Austria, with their government, and to inform the public about how we see the situation, about what is happening in Kosovo and Metohija, in Serbia and Republika Srpska, in the economy, about other successes and everything that is currently threatening the stability of our region," said Blagojević.

He stated at a press conference after the meeting in Banja Luka that Serbs from Austria were honoured to hear President Dodik today, ask questions and inform themselves about numerous violations, seized competencies and everything else that is happening, which they cannot hear about in Austria.

Blagojević thanked Dodik for his hospitality, for the detailed information they received and expressed hope that the measures they will implement in Austria will contribute to better understanding and support for better solutions and integration.

He said that representatives of the Serb Diaspora, businessmen, in relation to what is happening in Serbia and in connection with the pressures that the President of Republika Srpska is primarily exposed to, have decided to create, as they called it, a caravan of Serbs’ unity.

"We were in Belgrade yesterday and this morning; yesterday we attended a magnificent rally of Serbs’ unity. This morning we had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia /in caretaking capacity/ Miloš Vučević, where we learned about the situation in our country, the challenges and everything that our country is currently facing, where we are suffering terrible pressure and impact, especially in relation to our international reputation," Blagojević said.
