RECEPTION HELD FOR BASKETBALL PLAYER NIKOLINA MILIĆ, WHO PLAYS IN THE WNBA

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ – The Republika Srpska Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports hosted a reception for Nikolina Milić from Trebinje, who plays basketball in the US Women's National Basketball Association /WNBA/ and is ready to share her knowledge and experience with local girls who dream of competing at major sporting events.

After the reception, Republika Srpska Assistant Minister of Sports Danijela Ćapin said that Milić is proof that great sporting stories are being developed in Republika Srpska.

"She has won the EuroLeague, played in the strongest women's basketball league in the world, and reached the top through her hard work. We are proud of Nikolina, her success, and the fact that younger generations have such a great sporting role model," Ćapin said.

She emphasized that Milić is a source of pride for Trebinje and Republika Srpska, adding that it is the government's responsibility to support her, as well as all young athletes who dream of reaching the same heights in sport one day.

"We want to support our athletes and show them through examples like this that success is possible if they believe in themselves and work hard," Ćapin said.

She thanked Milić for her willingness to share her experience with the youngest female basketball players and motivate them to believe in their dreams.

"I am ready to share my experience with girls who dream of competing at major sporting events and to explain to them that anything really is possible if you make an effort, work hard, and believe in what you are doing," Milić said.
