BRATUNAC, JULY 26 /SRNA/ - As the most important tourist attraction, the municipality of Bratunac singles out the "Rajska Plaža" /Paradise Beach/ on the Drina River, not far from this settlement.

During the summer months, it is a destination that attracts up to 2,000 bathers and people who love vacation on rivers on a daily basis.

In the last few years, the municipality has invested significant funds in the development and construction of facilities at the "Rajska Plaža" picnic area, and the "Rajska Plaža" eco-rafting club has also been founded and it takes care of maintaining the beach and ensuring the safety of bathers during the swimming season.

This club also provides swimming training services for children, as well as assistance in case of weather conditions and floods.

The "Drina Slalom" regatta has been organized for 13 years to promote the tourist potential, and this event attracts a large number of participants.

FISHERMEN AND SCOUTS CAMP FOR FREE

Fishermen, scouts and groups of young people who want to stay longer at "Rajska Plaža" and enjoy the beauties of the Drina River and the facilities at this exceptional picnic spot, set up tents and camp in them without paying a fee, and there is no entrance fee to this beach either.

Along the beach, there are playgrounds for small sports, an adrenaline park, slides and other facilities and props for children's games, walking and cycling paths, as well as barbecues, a stage and a plateau for music concerts and other cultural events, which are occasionally organized in the summer.

In this part of the Drina River, there are several well-maintained trails where fishing schools for children are organized, as well as sport fishing competitions, so fishermen are frequent visitors to this area and camp there.

Tent settlements are also set up by scouts who organize training for young members and various orienteering competitions.
