BIJELJINA, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ - The News Agency of Republika Srpska - SRNA celebrated Patron Saint's Day of the Annunciation today and 33 years of successful work.

The celebration was organized in the editorial office in Bijeljina, where a prayer ceremony was held, as well as in correspondence offices in Banja Luka, East Sarajevo and Belgrade.

The General Director of the Agency Tatjana Parađina pointed out that since its establishment, SRNA has witnessed turbulent events and difficult times, but that its journalists have always been up to the task in providing objective information to the public.

Parađina emphasized that SRNA is modernizing the service by introducing new content such as the recently launched portal in English, as well as podcasts since last year.

She congratulated all the employees on their success and wished them to continue professionally reporting on all significant events, so that the Agency would be even more successful.

Archpriest Miran Gavrilović said that the Serbian nation is in great trials, and pointed out the need to pray to God to unite the Serbian flock worthy of Saint Sava.

"We have to stick together, unite. That's the only recipe to survive," said Father Gavrilović.

SRNA, by the decision of the National Assembly of the Serb Republic of BiH at the time, was founded on Annunciation, April 7, 1992 in Pale as the Serbian News Agency - SRNA.
