NUŽDIĆ: 12 TRUTHS ABOUT SUFFERING OF SERB WOMEN COLLECTEDwo

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ – Acting Director of the Republika Srpska Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons Viktor Nuždić has said today that the second edition of the monograph on women victims of war contains 12 testimonies – 12 truths about the suffering of Serb women during the Defensive-Patriotic War.

"These are heavy stories, but the ones the public must hear in order to appreciate the sacrifice made for Republika Srpska and to understand that Republika Srpska is the only guarantee of our survival in this area," Nuždić told the press in Banja Luka ahead of the promotion of the monograph "Our Testimony Two – Republika Srpska Women Victims of War 1992–1995".

He recalled that the Centre published the first monograph on the suffering of women victims of war ten years ago and expressed gratitude to the top officials of the Republic who always provide institutional support in order for the truth about the suffering of the Serb people to becomes known and to avoid such suffering from repeating ever again.

The head of the Association of Republika Srpska Women Victims of War, Božica Živković-Rajilić said that the monograph was prepared together with the Republika Srpska Research Centre of War, War Crimes and Tracing Missing Persons as an institution of Republika Srpska, as well as with the Government of Serbia.

"The monograph presents our true testimonies with the goal that this truth remains after us," Živković-Rajilić stated.

She emphasized that all relevant institutions in Republika Srpska support the Association's efforts to present their truth and ensure that this truth is preserved.
