MRKAJIĆ: HELICOPTER ENGINE OVERHAUL - ORAO TO ENTER CIVIL AVIATION

BIJELJINA, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Marko Mrkajić, director of the Orao company in Bijeljina, told SRNA that a facility for overhauling turbojet engines, including helicopter engines, will become operational tomorrow, opening up new markets and paving the way for entry into the civil aviation sector.

“The production hall has been completely renovated, representing an investment of around BAM 350,000, and more than BAM 2.5 million has been spent on equipment, spare parts, and tools,” Mrkajić said.

Mrkajić explained that this is a new project for overhauling helicopter engines.

He said this project is the first in a series of planned investments in Orao by Glotek, which recapitalized 30 percent of the company's shares.
