MONTENEGRIN SUSPECT WANTED BY INTERPOL DETAINED IN DOBOJ

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA/ - Officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Internal Affairs /MoI/ Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime arrested a Montenegrin national in Doboj today who was wanted by Germany under an international Interpol Red Notice.

Searches of apartments used by the man, identified by the initials V.B. in the Doboj area uncovered 1,000 grams of marijuana, 100 grams of cocaine, around BAM 8,000, digital scales and other items that may be used as evidence in criminal proceedings, the Republika Srpska MoI said.

The searches were carried out on the orders of the Doboj Court of General Jurisdiction in cooperation with officers of the Doboj Police Administration, while the duty judge of the Court of BiH was notified.

Following criminal processing, V.B. will be handed over to the Doboj District Public Prosecutor's Office along with a report alleging the criminal offence of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs for further proceedings.
