MINIĆ: WE MUST PROTECT OUR PEOPLE AND SHOW THAT WE WILL NOT TOLERATE PRESSURE

ŠEKOVIĆI, SEPTEMBER 17 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that Republika Srpska must protect its people and make clear it will not tolerate pressure or insults on national grounds, stressing that students must not be treated with hatred, as happens in the Federation of BiH.

"I am glad that we are not like that and that we would not treat a child, a student, that way. In the Federation of BiH, they turn their hatred into aggression every day, which is bad. I think they are only harming themselves and showing that any normal life in a state, society, or any other community does not exist," Minić told reporters in Šekovići, commenting on the case of Teodora Drinjak, who is continuing her studies in Banja Luka after facing pressure and insults on national grounds while studying in Sarajevo.

Minić said that in the Federation of BiH, they glorify someone whom they regard as a hero, even though this person committed crimes against Serbs, but that even this does not prompt a response based on hatred from Republika Srpska.

"And that is where we differ. We have no hatred. I, for one, have no hatred, but in any case, we must understand that we have to protect our people and show that we will not tolerate this," Minić said.
