BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 15 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has emphasized today that the Serb people are under the greatest pressure and attack in modern history, thus it is necessary for them to be focused and united in order to withstand the challenges.
Minić pointed out that the celebration of the Day of the Unity of Serbs, Freedom, and the National Flag has become a strategic issue because this holiday implies gathering, which is not aimed against anyone, but gives strength for us to be stronger.
"We gather under a flag that has always been on the right side in history. We were under that flag when we were both losing or winning," Minić told the press in Banjaluka.
He expressed satisfaction for having the opportunity today to address the Serb people in Serbia on the occasion of celebrating the Day of the Unity of Serbs and to send the message of how unity is essential.
"We must be strong to resist the belief that if we are together, we are against someone. We are not, but we are together to be stronger," emphasized Minić.
The prime minister of Srpska will attend the ceremonial gathering in Belgrade at 7:00 PM on the occasion of the Day of the Unity of Serbs, Freedom, and the National Flag, which will be held at the National Theater.
The governments of Republika Srpska and Serbia decided to jointly celebrate the Day of the Unity of Serbs, Freedom, and the National Flag on September 15.
The celebration of this holiday was established in 2020 with the goal of strengthening unity between the Serb people in Serbia and Srpska, as well as promoting the cult of the national flag. It is celebrated in remembrance of the breakthrough of the Salonika Front in World War I.
