MINIĆ OPENS THIRD YOUTH AGRICULTURE CONFERENCE

ŠEKOVIĆI, SEPTEMBER 10 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić opened the third Republika Srpska Youth Agriculture Conference in Šekovići today.

In the next three days, young people engaged in farming, agribusiness and rural development will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing modern agriculture, as well as the importance of connecting young people interested in farming and developing their agricultural holdings and businesses.

The conference gathers more than 200 participants and representatives of Republika Srpska institutions, with the aim of drawing public attention to rural areas and the need for generational renewal in the domestic agricultural sector.

The annual event, held in rural communities across Republika Srpska, focuses on the pressing issue of the aging agricultural population and the need to make agriculture more appealing and modern among young people.

The Republika Srpska Youth Agriculture Conference is held under the sponsorship of the Government of Republika Srpska and the Republika Srpska Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
