MINIĆ: MAIN GAS PIPELINE PROJECT ONE OF REGION'S BIGGEST

ZVORNIK, APRIL 2 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić expects signing a contract for the construction of the Šepak–Novi Grad main gas pipeline, one of the largest projects in the region, within the next seven days.

"What is most important is that, during its construction, we will make maximum use of the highway route and existing road infrastructure, which will reduce unnecessary delays caused, among other things, by expropriation," Minić told reporters.

He emphasized that the importance of this project is enormous in today's circumstances.

"Those who have energy resources and food have power," Minić said.

He added that the significance of the gas pipeline construction is multiple for local communities, as well as for the secondary network, which will be built alongside the primary one.
