BANJA LUKA, JUNE 26 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said he was appalled by a video showing the burning of the Republika Srpska flag and chants that revive painful memories of monstrous mujahideen crimes against Serbs.
"Such hatred brings nothing good to anyone, especially not to those who insist on Serbs remaining in the state union called BiH," Minić said.
He stressed that the flag of Republika Srpska, which has always been on the side of justice and truth, has not even been challenged by the Constitutional Court of BiH, which has for decades acted exclusively against the Serb people.
"Republika Srpska will not respond with hatred, but we will continue the process of adopting a legal solution that would ban the wartime flag of the so-called Army of BiH, as a symbol that evokes painful memories for many and deepens divisions," Minić wrote on X.
A video has appeared on social media showing a group of hooligans removing the flag of Republika Srpska from a flagpole and setting it on fire.
Media outlets in the Federation report that the flag was located on a flagpole placed near the inter-entity boundary line.
