TREBINJE, JANUARY 5 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has stated today that it is a source of pride for Republika Srpska that the construction of the Trebinje hospital was completed using its own funds, stressing that health care in Srpska is at a high level.

Speaking at a press conference following the opening of the new Trebinje hospital, Minić emphasized that over the past two years the Government of Republika Srpska has allocated more than BAM 140 million to regulate and support all services provided by health care institutions.

"And we can say that when it comes to health care, the operation of health institutions, as well as primary and secondary health care, it is at a high level," Minić said.

He added that, as the prime minister, he is proud of everything the Government of Republika Srpska has been doing consistently, noting that it was an honor for him to be part of the opening of the new hospital in Trebinje.

The newly built St. Archdeacon Stephen - January 9 Hospital in Trebinje was officially opened today, with the hospital doors symbolically opened to the sound of a heartbeat.

The opening ceremony was attended by the highest officials of Republika Srpska, Serbia, and Montenegro.
