MINIĆ: CONSTITUTIONAL COURT NEVER QUESTIONED DECISIONS OF SRPSKA GOVERNMENT

BANJALUKA, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ – The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić has said he is satisfied with the incomplete Constitutional Court of BiH’s ruling on admissibility and merits regarding the election of the previous Government of Republika Srpska, as the court never questioned decisions of the Republika Srpska Government.

"I am satisfied because I was right when I claimed they were not competent to review the Government’s decisions. At no point did they challenge the decisions of the Republika Srpska Government, which include by-laws, executive acts, and political matters," Minić told reporters in Banja Luka on Monday evening.

According to him, the wording of the ruling is somewhat contradictory, but in every sense, "everything previously coming from this institution was much worse."

"For the first time, we can say that we are satisfied with something. I am glad that at no point was the continuity of the Republika Srpska Government work or the decisions we made questioned," Minić emphasized.

Minić also expressed dissatisfaction with the Constitutional Court’s interpretation, which shows that their apparent primary goal was to address the issue of Milorad Dodik’s position.

"They are interpreting it wrongly and deliberately, because at that moment Milorad Dodik had the right to nominate me as the mandate-holder," Minić stressed.

He added that today, a group of DF and SDA deputies submitted the same appeal.

"No matter how much they attack and try to undermine us, create intrigues, we have shown that we can respond politically and are ready to ensure that the Republika Srpska Government functions," Minić concluded.
