DOBOJ, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić has said today that the announced financial assistance for primary and high school students will be paid to their parents, unless high school students have their own bank accounts.
Minić explained that high school students who have their own bank accounts will receive the money directly, while those who do not will have the funds paid to their parents.
"For university students, the money will be paid directly to them, while the funds for extended-day care will be paid to parents. We have secured the funds. Payments will be made as the money becomes available," Minić stressed, adding that there are no problems in this regard.
Commenting on the decision stipulating that the Republika Srpska Government's one-time financial assistance would be provided only to students studying in Republika Srpska, Minić told the press in Doboj that he believes all students from Republika Srpska should receive the assistance and that he would see whether this could be resolved.
"They are our students, and I believe they should all receive this assistance," Minić stressed.
