MINIĆ AND MRKAJIĆ OPEN HALL FOR OVERHAUL OF HELICOPTER ENGINES

BIJELJINA, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić and director of the Orao military factory Marko Mrkajić today opened an adapted facility intended for the overhaul of helicopter engines.

The production hall opens up new markets for Orao in the civil aviation sector.

Mrkajić previously told SRNA that the hall had been completely renovated, representing an investment of BAM 350,000, while more than BAM 2.5 million had been spent on equipment, spare parts and tools.

He said this was the first in a series of planned investments by the Glotec Company, which acquired a 30 percent stake in Orao through a recapitalization process.

Before the official opening of the production hall, Minić met with the management of Orao, visited the memorial room dedicated to fallen soldiers who had worked at the factory, and laid a wreath at the memorial..
