NEVESINJE. JULY 9 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić said that he would employ all 500 children of fallen soldiers during this term and that three of them got jobs in Nevesinje today.

Minić stated that, during a meeting with the children of fallen soldiers, they agreed on the timetable for employment and that jobs would be provided in the forestry service, the Dabar Hydropower Plant and the cadastre office.

"As institutions, we will provide the jobs, while the Veterans' Organisation will provide us with the names. I have personally tasked an adviser with coming here and monitoring the implementation of this process," Minić told reporters after the meeting.

He pointed out that Nevesinje is somewhat specific because there are still many children of fallen soldiers there whose employment issue has not been resolved, whereas in some local communities there are almost none left in that category.

He noted that there has been a delay in addressing this issue, expressed regret over that fact, and thanked them for their patience, which, as he said, has its limits.

"We will also call out those in state institutions who have failed to comply with the Government's decision, which has been updated three or four times this year alone," Minić stressed.

He emphasized that a serious effort had been launched and that the process had to be completed.

"We agreed that we would employ 500 children of fallen soldiers, and I said that Minister Radan Ostojić and I give our word on this and that we must complete it within our term in office, which realistically has about three months left. We made a promise, and it will be fulfilled," Minić concluded.
