BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 20 /SRNA/ – The existence of the Republika Srpska Memorial Centre documents the truth about the suffering of Serbs, thus will receive additional logistical support as early as today to enable it to expand its activities, President Milorad Dodik stressed.
"The Republika Srpska Memorial Centre should have been established on the very first day of Republika Srpska’s existence, which unfortunately did not happen. It was established many years later, quite rightly, as it presents the truth. If the truth upsets anyone, that is their problem," Dodik told the press in Banja Luka.
Dodik said the truth had disturbed many people following the screening of Lordan Zafranović's film "The Golden Cut '42 – Children of Kozara", which truthfully depicts the genocide against Serbs during World War II.
"This will remain as a permanent record of the truth about a particular period in history, which younger generations, above all, should be able to understand and learn about more easily through digital means," Dodik stressed.
